Online dating can be a little difficult sometimes. And for some wealthy men, it just got a whole lot worse. Apparently a twenty-four-year old named Justin Brown has been posing as model Bree Condon on a dating website called SeekingMillionaire.com. Yes, you read that right. A man has been posing as a model that is a woman.
It seems that this Justin character has cheated men out of thousands of dollars and scored some pretty nice gifts. He was actually caught in his hotel room in Texas with a dog and an iPhone - both paid for by men he knew from the site.
Now, I am sure you wondering how in the world a man could pull off such a scheme. Well, he didn't actually meet any of these men face to face. Rather, he used photo shop to make scandalous pictures to send out. He also used a little phone sex where he apparently found a way to have a really high pitched voice (it's not clear if it is natural or not).
How did he get caught? He contacted a man named John Carbona to ask for money. Carbona, who is a private investigator (oops), thought something was up and contacted the real Bree Condon.
All I have to say is why in the world did these men agree to send money and gifts to a woman they have never even met? I mean, I know we all want to date a super model and all, but come on. Really.
